Developed and pioneered by Consultant Vascular Surgeon Dr Brian Newman MD, FRCS, the technology is based on a process called ‘thermocoagulation’ – which essentially cuts off the blood supply to the affected area.

TREATMENT PROCESS
Veinwave™ uses an ultra-fine insulated needle which allows accurate application of the treatment whilst protecting the skin and the surrounding tissue. The broken vein is treated with a high-frequency current which sets up an inflammatory reaction and seals the vein, causing it to disperse naturally in the body.* The skin feels warm while the treatment is taking place.
The procedure is relatively painless, and, unlike any other treatment, the versatility of the procedure means it be applied to all areas of the body. There is no bruising and no need for dressings and can be completed in under half an hour.
