TREATMENT PROCESS
Treated areas should be shaved 48 hours before your appointment.
On the day, you’ll wear specially designed goggles to protect your eyes. A cool gel is applied to the skin, a handheld device is placed on to your skin. The hand piece emits light of a wavelength close to infrared, which is absorbed by the melanin located in the hair follicle. The laser beam is emitted only for a fraction of a second, which is long enough to damage the follicle while leaving the surrounding tissues intact, thanks to the cooling system at the tip of the hand piece, which protects the skin during laser energy emission.
The treated areas must be protected from bright sunlight with a strong SPF for 3 days after treatment and kept cool for at least 24 hours
